Chrysler LHS was produced in 1994 to 2001 as a luxury car. It is a full-sized front wheel drive that was designed with the Chrysler LH platform. Its cab forward design was characterized by the long slow slug windshield with short over hangs. It has its wheels pushed to the corners of the car so as to create a larger passenger space. The Chrysler is known for its production of sleek and luxury cars and this model was made to compete with other expensive models that were in the era. The car was also made to replace other models like the Eagle Vision and the Chrysler 300M. Chrysler LHS has its OBD-II system incorporated in the cars power train computer and is designed to assist in reduction and prevention of pollution. The system records every component and system that may cause emission of pollutants when the car is on motion. The system has malfunction indicator light (MIL) which alerts the driver when the car has some mechanical problem and storing fault code information where the mechanic can read the recorded codes. Each code means a different problem that the car is experiencing and thus, the mechanic is required to know what every code means. The MIL only shows its indicators when some problem has not been able to be noticed for a three successive driving cycle.
