1) Bluetooth SETTINGS MUST BE ON the phone. Check your owner's manual how to turn Bluetooth on.

* If you have never paired a device with your phone before, please read its instructions.


2) Important: Must have all or any other OBD devices unpaired with the phone your using before continuing.
3) Must pair your phone to the OBD2 ELM Device
4) When pairing password could be one of two (0000) or (1234)
5) Go to your app store or your Google play store and download the free editions of Torque. You can choose to pay for the full version if you choose with more features, however the free is plenty for most.

6) Go into Torque app into and pair OBD to torque app.

PAIRING INTO TORQUE APP

1) go to >Menu
2) go to >More
3) go to >Settings
4) Find "DEVICE" under (Bluetooth Preferences)
5) Click on device and pair to the correct OBD device
once that is all done, and depending on the Android device this could take 1-5 min noticed that on HTC phones its fairly quick, and on Samsung takes almost 5 min.
